For those of you thinking LT4 swap just start with the drysump motor if going dry sump, or wet sump if going that route. I went wet sump. I was "Thinking" I was saving $1000.00 on the setup because I was going with a aftermarket dry sump system. I did not realize the front of the supercharger would need to be changed for the dry sump accessories I wanted to run. The wet sump system accessory drive system is pushed out quite a bit further forward than the dry sump accessory drive setup. Live and learn. My reasoning for aftermarket drysump was superior oil control, low profile oil pan , and accessory drive tight to the front of the engine. Pics tomorrow.

A few pictures showing the difference between the two supercharger snouts. To swap them I also had to pull the hubs off the backside of the shaft and will be pressing the longer snout hub on to the short snout, and vice versa. The 3 holes for the dowels pressed into the hubs have a different pattern, and need to match so the coupler will fit .

I installed the new timing cover today, and made a plug to block the port between the PCV valve and the supercharger. Blocking it to prevent oil from getting in the supercharger, and on the back of the valves. Going to Install the supercharger, and accessories tomorrow.

I got the supercharger put together, and the plug installed. I need to buy a new set of supercharger bolts. One of mine broke. I over torqued the bolt looking at the wrong tourque specs. The harmonic balancer I have won't work with my set up. Going to have to figure out a fix to run the dry sump supercharger on this thing.

I ordered the bolts. I contacted ATI to see about a solution for the front damper didn't get anywhere with them calling Dailey Engineering next.

The engineers at Dailey, and engineers at ATI figured out a solution. Dailey Engineering has been great to deal with. I couldn't ask for a better customer experience. Great product and service after the sale.

The solution they found is what people are using to run LT4 Zo6 supercharger on a LT1 wet sump engine. It consists of a wet sump damper assembly, spacer, and suppercharger pully. Apparently the wet and dry sump accessories are located at the same distance from the front of the engine. The supercharger drive is just pushed out further on the wet sump motor. Just need to order up the damper assembly, and spacer. I have the supercharger drive pulley already.

Impressive project. You are going to have one sick FRS when this thing is done!

The supercharger bolt kit has arrived, and Dailey Engineering is working with ATI to get all the parts sorted out I will need on my harmonic balancer. I should have a finalized quote this week I would think. Updates as I make progress with pics. when I get some time to put in some work.

I got the quote back from Dailey Engineering, and will be ordering the damper and spacer Monday. I will post part numbers, and pics of the setup with accessories all bolted on after I receive the damper parts.

Damper just shipped should have it by the 18th. I was also informed of a oil passage that goes back to the stock variable displacement oil pump that will need to be blocked. If it's not blocked it will not maintain oil pressure. This oil passage feeds the main bearings. It's the hole in between the two bolts above the crankshaft timing sprocket.

3/16" steel blockoff plate and 1/8" spacers. I made these to block off the oil passage that returned to the back of the stock variable displacement oil pump.
If the motor were not assembled the oil passage could be tapped for a threaded plug.
My engine is assembled, so I made this plate that will seal against the oem rubber Oring style gasket. This gasket would have sealed between the oil passage and pump. It now seals the oil passage to the blockoff plate.
