Idle issues on Ecutek
 

Hi,

My car was boosted last month and I am getting a few idle issues and wondering if the community can help.

Issue 1
When the cars is cold I would be driving and coming to a stop (clutch normally engaged) the rpm's will drop and engine would stall. Normally only happens once or twice and when the cars warm its ok.

Issue 2
When cars idling it will lean every so often causing the Revs to drop to 500 rpm and bounce back to normal.

Any idea's what is happening??

Check your LTFT at idle and low rpm if its over say 10% you may have intake or exhaust leak if its over 10 %


Might be a speed density tune


increase the rpm in the overrun fuel resume table at coolant temps above 140F , by 100 or 200 rpm , stock is 1300 try 1400 or 1500


increase base idle by 50 or 100 rpm


adjust idle stability tables MAP
