Hey guys is the OFT worth it? Seen a lot of people selling it. Does it really help out with power?

Depends on what you're ultimately looking to do with your car long term. Are you looking to stay NA or go FI? Header? Intake? E85? NOS?!!?

Tell us more about your overall goals first so we can more effectively answer your question.

Everyone's idea of "power" is subjective, so that part may be difficult to address.

There is one sure way to address lack of power though...

In the end hella people run it, and it works for some and not for others. Decide what is right for you based upon your goals and needs. If you plan to work with a tuner on a custom tune talk to them too

You see oft for sale cause its possible to unmarried it and on sell it.

Unlike for example if you went to tuner and got a tune flashed to ECU, you have nothing to sell .

It's nice, but the "stage 1" isn't like "a whole new car"

It's a bit like doing a tune up, everything 'feels' a bit nicer but it's not like "omg +xx horsepower"

I got it because I'll be doing aftermarket headers and the tune gets the most benefit out of 'em. There's a myriad of factors that could make you think "this is great!" or "that was a waste of money", all comes down to perspective and what you plan to do.

Already got a intake, wanna get exhaust soon too. Honestly don't care bout too much power just want more linear powerband or like linear throttle response. Wouldn't mind supercharger but it's just wayyy to expensive right now for my budget. I know you can unmarry it, but like since people are selling them a lot, are they even worth it like I guess they weren't satisfied with the tune that's why they sell it??

Maybe someone else will chime in and prove me wrong, but locally, I don't know of anyone who is selling or sold their OFT because they were unhappy with the performance or value of what they got. Generally people sell it because either they are parting out their car to sell it, or they are going FI and need to use Ecutek for their tuning. I am in the 2nd category, I loved having the OFT while I had it, but went to JRSC and thus went to the Ecutek camp.

If you want linear power band (i.e., no torque dip) you will want to get a header as well as the OFT. Stage 1 by itself will help a little bit but as other says it doesn't transform the car by any means.
