OFT is flashing on and off sporadically...very erratic!

So I recently purchased an OFT just a couple of weeks ago, and this morning it was acting very erratic. When I attempted to go to real data display to view my ECU's live data...it just started blinking on and off very erratically. I emailed sales@openflashperformance to see what they recommend. Has this happened to anyone, if so how can I fix it?

Note: Everything else is working fine when toggling through the menus. I've tried to unplug and replug it back in, still no luck.

You have a tuning alert set that is being triggered. That sound and flashing to to ensure you know something critical is happening like overheating, high oil temps, etc. Go into your tuning alerts and check your recipes.

Interesting you say that because yesterday I did, for the first time, set a tuning alert for Oil Temp and coolant temp, but they were set at 240 degrees and 235 respectively....and I had just turned on my car when it started doing this (engine was cold). I did forget to mention that I deleted the tuning alerts thinking that was the issue but it still does it! Just prior to me setting the alerts I also did a calibration because touch sensitivity was way off. (took me three tries even with a stylus pen). I'll play around with it again on my lunch break to see if I can get it to stop flashing.

UPDATE: I figured it out! Apparently I never deleted the alerts. After taking a closer look at the alert table settings, the temperature settings were set to go off "under" the values I entered. All I had to do was convert the symbol < to >. Something so simple overlooked. At least now I know how the Alert is displayed!

What mount are you using for your OFT?
