Greddy intake and misc parts
http://greddy.com/products/jdm-speci...er/frs-brz-86/
Greddy has a few other things going on it looks like no idea on availability though. |
I'm glad to see they have an oil cooler on the way...
|
Interesting. Looks like the intake is a Takeda copy...

wait you expect overpriced JDM goodness to make power? you must be new to this game. If you want the best intake (you know like it makes power) look everywhere else, preferably perrin or one of the site sponsors who have been transparent, most of the JDM stuff is just overpriced, and rarely makes the most power. |

Once this is out you can just call them and ask. |
Funny the Takeda and Greddy are completely the same!
Look at the filter box, They both use momentum air filter boxes. Greddy just has the sound tube delete and different filters. |

Yeah the greedy and takeda look almost identical...i wish i could match the greddy/takeda box with the injen intake pipe. mmmm SICK
|
any idea how much oil coolers go for?>
|
Yeah I called Greddy last week asking why it looks like a rebadged Takeda intake and they confirmed they are collaborating with Takeda on the intake.
And to SkullWorks, these Greddy pieces are USDM products. Greddy seems to be the American partner of Trust in Japan. All the BRZ exhausts on greddy.com are not sold in Japan and, likewise, Trust sells completely different JDM exhausts for this car. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. |
nice, single exhaust! don't like the sound too much though..

Really debating about buying that SP elite exhaust and now seeing the intake system it would good to have matching products in my car :happyanim:

Trust to Greddy is like Honda to Acura (in some cases) |

Or something. Ok did some googling: Greddy is a sub-brand of Trust in Japan (like GRacer and GREX), but they couldn't use Trust in the US because if other trademarks. So in America Trust operates their whole operation as 'GReddy'. In 2008 Trust Japan filed for bank protection, but GReddy on this side managed to keep operating mostly normally until Trust sorted stuff out at home. |
