Yeah I called Greddy last week asking why it looks like a rebadged Takeda intake and they confirmed they are collaborating with Takeda on the intake.

And to SkullWorks, these Greddy pieces are USDM products. Greddy seems to be the American partner of Trust in Japan. All the BRZ exhausts on greddy.com are not sold in Japan and, likewise, Trust sells completely different JDM exhausts for this car. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Last I heard Trust and Greddy were the same company (Greddy was a sub-brand of Trust??? Maybe?). But there was some bankruptcy issue a little while ago and they re-structured. It's now possible that Greddy is a separate US-run company but still associated with whatever is left of Trust.

Greddy posted on their FRS Facebook page that it will be available in August.

Really debating about buying that SP elite exhaust and now seeing the intake system it would good to have matching products in my car :happyanim:

Greddy is the division of Trust that sells outside of Japan. It's the exact same company and they operate as 1 company. You'll never find any different.

Trust to Greddy is like Honda to Acura (in some cases)

I know that's how it was. But I lost track of what happened when Trust had to restructure because of bankruptcy protection in Japan. Things got weird for a bit and Greddy on this side was sort of independant.

Greddy is a sub-brand of Trust in Japan (like GRacer and GREX), but they couldn't use Trust in the US because if other trademarks. So in America Trust operates their whole operation as 'GReddy'. In 2008 Trust Japan filed for bank protection, but GReddy on this side managed to keep operating mostly normally until Trust sorted stuff out at home.
