Go Pro Positioning

I just picked up a Go Pro HD Hero2 so I can document my AutoX correctly. What is the best place to stick the Go Pro?

My objective is to use the footage to learn from my mistakes :)

Should I have it by the driver rear window so I can see my steering input?
Should it be on top of the roof?

What works best for you guys?

I have put it on the roof and upside down on the windshield near the rear view mirror. I like the mirror positioning the best.

I've only tried mine out on the windsheild.

You can see the video and the positioning here:

I set mine up at the 720p wide settings for that video.

I like the rear window driver side for two-fold: Steering inputs, and car placement in relation to cones. The top view does not show the cones half very accurately.

Helmet would work too...because it will let you see where you are actually looking while also let you see the steering inputs. I placed one of the provided mounts on the inner facing side at eye level on my helmet, but haven't autocrossed it yet, just tracked it:

+1

We used a suction mount for the Flip HD on the driver's side rear window last year, but I need to splurge and get my own stuff at some point.

I have some video of the GoPro mounted on the rear windshield, but I'm having issues uploading to YouTube. Always fails processing :\ (verified I'm using the right video formats, I'm approved for over 15m video, etc.etc. No idea why it's not working, very annoying.)
