Grinding noise at low rpms

So I recently got the throwout bearing replaced and my car has started making a grinding noise whenever I start moving from a stop. Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks.

Also, anyone how to upload videos on a post? I remember being able to do it before but now it's not letting me.

Grinding noise ........hmmmmm

When you had the TOB replaced, did they replace anything else (clutch, flywheel) .. ??

If you take off in second ...... do you notice the grinding .. ??

Is the transmission oil level up to full .. ??

Come back.

Oh ...... @Ultramaroon ...... we have a client ...... ;)

Yup, what @humfrz asked. Also, from where does it seem to come? Does it happen constantly, or only when you start out?

Post the clip in youtube and link it here.

Only the TOB was replaced.

It only happens when I'm on first and around 1000-1500 rpms.

Haven't checked transmission fluid.

Comes from the front of the car? It only happens on first gear and when I'm on low rpms.

Here's the video, the grinding at 0:07

Audio might not be the best though

I suggest you take the car back to whoever replaced the TOB and ask them to check the transmission fluid level ...... and make sure the transmission is securely bolted to the bell housing and to the frame. Also check and make sure the panels underneath are secure.

Perfectly normal. Nothing wrong with asking to verify fluid level in the trans but I bet it will come back fine.

I'll also guess that it shifts better.

1000-1500 is in the range where the engine firing pulses can jostle the gears around in the transmission. The factory transmission fluid is super thick. It quiets down the normal clatter made by the free gears when it's operated down that low.

I bet if you slow down in second gear and step onto the throttle down low you'll get the same noise.

I'll guess it was filled using a more reasonable fluid but will be a little noisier down there.
