His useless brick retails ~$500, most people aim for $350 used, it's a great deal. Your attitude isn't really helping your argument either, just supporting his. Just let the man sell his brick and you find another brick to buy. Simple as that.

For those of you considering buying this, do it. Then get in contact with Shiv and Open Flash Performance for a replacement, which is about $250 I believe. You send in the married one and he’ll send you a new one in return

I second this. The guy was never "bamboozled"... He could of just sent it in to Open Flash and then paid an extra $250 to get a brand new one. If anything the guy was giving him a deal.

I bought a married open flash from a guy for 150 plus a cusco strut bar. Tablet ended up being married to his car. He disappeared on me and then I got into contact with Open flash and got a brand new one for an extra $250 so in all I got a new tablet and a used cusco strut bar for $400.
Ended up being a good deal on my end.

Hardly a useless brick. I would take it as credit towards a brand new tablet.

I knew I could get one from shiv for $250.. which is why i was bothered that I clearly told him to send it regardless and he still refunded me, it was an inconvinience and i could definitely file this as a claim
