Anyone still holding out for BeSpoke?

I know a lot of people where holding out for this in the beginning. Just wondering if anyone held off the purchase just to get this option?

My Raven - which should be ready for me to finally pick up this coming Friday - will have the BeSpoke stereo

Im thinking of taking my BeSpoke out and replacing it with an Appradio.. both from Pioneer so im sure the USB connector in the console should work

I work at a Toyota/scion dealer and I ordered it with mine and I just really have not been impressed with it... Trouble pairing and I know its not user error because i pair phones all day for customers, the interface is not user friendly and in my opinion difficult to operate, and I'm a technophile... I almost went with the pioneer app radio dual din and now I am regretting my choice... Stereo has been my only complaint with the vehicle..Everything else is right on the money

I dont believe it does:
theres a thread / diy about how to hook up an aftermarket HU to the oem usb / aux plugs, seems like some who did it used various pioneer units. meaning they still had to splice wires and stuff to get the OEM usb to work.

Im mixed, i was really set on getting the avic x940bt,
But the more and more i think, the more i dont like the look of the dash mount kits covering holes, and would love to easily use the OEM mic / usb. (i want to do the install myself and dont have that confidence)

The bespoke unit itself seemed really responsive and well put together, just a lack of features and the app portion of it are lacking. personally, i like the cosmetics of it.
and OVERPRICED...

You can get a much better 2din unit for less money on amazon and they're simple to install.
The bespoke is overpriced and doesn't really do anything that the base stereo doesn't do. Certainly a bigger screen and 40 more Watts of power doesn't justify $850 extra...

I don't know why anyone would want the Bespoke stereo, honestly...

"Bespoke" means, typically, made by hand to order, but these headunits are not that at all...and no nav? Really?

Bonburner 07-18-2012 10:12 PM

aftermarket ftw

Mr. Mcoupe 07-18-2012 10:37 PM

"Bespoke". I don't get how it was named.

Is BeSpoke really a garbage? I only checked out BRZ so far and I am not sure if FRS without BeSpoke has AUX...

I got the BeSpoke, I really like it.
