Thanks for doing this @PRKR8NGR :party0030:. Also, there is a plaza <5min from the venue if anyone wants to make a final stop or meet others just before the event.

@MyRx booth wise do you need help with anything?

As typically, we'll call on volunteers when people start to arrive. I guess just hang out near our booth. Friday is walk-thru day ~10am. At that time, I'll pick a spot and perhaps bring something to designate 86drive. @PMok, @finch1750 you got something? All I've got are 86Cup banners :bonk:

Man, so much on the to do list before Saturday. Lets see how much actually gets done lol

You telling me  I still have someone's particular WRB getting cleaned in my garage, then potentially neighbors' car(s), then my FRS... I feel an illness coming on and Thursday night it's gonna hit me real hard lol

This is almost worst than track preparations :bellyroll:

We have the Norcal86 flags, but don't know if they would hold overnight lol. We will have them there first thing Saturday morning though for everyone to look for

I can take the blue one off your hands to make room if the owner doesn't pick it up in a timely manner

Not the 6" soccer cones right, I have those. But if they are the real road cones, bring them Thurs. I have just one.

Sure, post the address for the plaza and we'll meet whomever wants to meet there beforehand. If not, we'll just head straight to the entrance.

I don't have anything to help sorry and usually I don't work Friday's but this week I am in a training course for work.

-----

I just received an email from SPOCOM, my roll in time is 8am. My buddy who doesn't own a twin, was going to caravan with us up but his roll in time is 11am. What does everyone else have?

MyRx 09-20-2017 03:57 AM

Alameda Landing. It's on the right side as you exit the Webster tunnel (assuming taking 880/Oakland route).

11am for your buddy... was he going to park with us?

finch1750 09-20-2017 05:09 AM

Wait, I know we cant leave with our cars but even we. An't physically leave the site?

Whos bringing a bbq then? Lol

Kabong 09-20-2017 04:48 PM

Waiting on my media approval. If not, I'll reg the car, since parking is $10 already.

I ordered a new 86DRIVE banner but it may not arrive until Friday :bonk:
just throw a folding table down and attach one of your 86CUP banners to it if need be haha.

you can leave the site... just need someone who parked outside to drive us somewhere, or make drink/food runs for us. Though I heard there's going to be food trucks on site this year...

I will bring a cooler of water/ice... suggest several of you do the same!

nah but I mean general area if there is room I guess. He's showing individually, but is also media coverage.

I am not sure how loose Spocom will be at 8am if his roll-in is at 11am. He may park just outside the gate until 10:30ish if they say otherwise. But if he's media, I would think he would want as much coverage as possible including roll-ins, setup, etc. So if he's caravanning with you, just make sure you two are back-to-back during roll-in and I'll see what I can do.

finch1750 09-21-2017 05:00 PM

I'll have a cooler also. No booze allowed but I do have a plan to visit Hangar 1 right down the street if anyone want's to join *cough* @PMok *cough*
