Looking for professional tuner advice...
I'm currently running a great UEL header, 2.5 OP, motiv HFC FP, invidia q300, and OFT stage 2 UEL tune.
I'm considering trading up to an Ace header (250 or CS400) and getting an (ecutek) dyno tune. Is there really much power to gain with this swap? What about area under the curve? Also planning on upgrading to a JRSC after a whopping 72,000 miles, would I be realistically much better off with an EL header for this rotrex system... or is the difference negligible? Thanks, David |
There is more to be gained from the dyno tune itself relative to the change in header. What is your current header? Just curious.
And difference between UEL and EL for your rotrex is negligible. The same concept applies - UEL more torque down low, EL more higher end HP. |
Well the ace headers are supposedly nuts for NA power above other headers, but my current header is a ceramic coated Gruppe-S UEL (effectively the same as the tomei). Made 202whp on E85.
