Ugly?! No way, your mama is ugly Clarkson...
|
Clarkson doesn't like Japanese style very much. Don't take it personally...
|
Haha! I'm actually shocked that they picked the GT86 as the winner, but extremely happy at the same time!!! I didn't think old Jezza would choose the little 200hp car over all those high-HP brutes it was up against.
|
JR never like anything by Japanese as I recalled, but this 86 has changed his mind. Anyway, so proud to own an affordable humble car :)

Gah, my wait anxiety just got another kick in the pants. My brain is crying.

Regardless, THANK YOU!!!! :thanks: Edit: I know I shouldn't care but since conception of this car I wanted Jeremy Clarkson to test drive it and I wanted him to love it. It would have made no difference to how much I will enjoy this car but just in the back of my mind I really wanted him to see what I see. I was really expecting the words "it needs MORE POWWWAHHH". |

HAHA love the way you put it. you and me both! |
It boggles my mind how he can say it's hideous. My brain just can't compute it... At least he likes how it drives.
Edit: ok, having read the comparo i can kind of see where he has a point. He says it looks bland for a coupe and frankly i can kind of understand that, since they're aren't a lot of complicated lines in the aethetics of the body. It's very smooth and free flowing. Just because i know where he's coming from now though dosen't mean i agree, since i believe that sort of aesthetic simplicity is part of the classic formula. Take out the front fascia and the car as a whole isn't very aggressive, but i for one like a little humble to go with my fierce. |

I think this is one of the best looking cars off the lot. Can't ask for better review otherwise.
