Fenders - C-West or Ings

I am keen on getting some vented fenders for my 86. How is the fitment of them? 100% spot on, or some tweaking is needed?

I just installed the C-West fenders. Fitment is very good but will still require some slight tweaking. Just be aware that any fiberglass panel will not fit the same as oem without modification.

They look fucking fantastic though. Will post some pics after they are tweaked and painted.

I'll also take some pics of how they line up now when I get home.

That would be great man! Could you please let us know what were those tweaks?

The gap between the door and fender was slightly wider than stock, also there was a small difference in height from the hood to the fender. I doubt either would be very noticeable once it's painted but that depends on how OCD you are. Should be able to get it to line up better by adjusting a few of the mounting bolt holes. Also may need to build up the top a bit to get it flush with the hood.

Thanks a lot man! That looks great indeed! The small adjustments should be ok then! I really thought it would be something a bit more drastic than that!

On the other hand they look rough as, so I guess there will be plenty of sanding and priming done. :)
