Oft vs eft for e85 tune

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the delicious e85 kit and was pretty sure about using oft but after watching that one drive video it's swaying me back towards the ecutek (video stated + 30hp with delicious tune/e85/catback)

I'm going to be buying the tuner now and the e85 kit in two months if that makes a difference id also like to make the car backfire on decel (I know it's cheesy) and launch control(I don't know if those two things sways it one way or the other)

Both will give similar power gains. The ecutek tune will probably make a little more power. I'm not sure if the delicious tuning flex fuel kit will work with the oft. The Moto East one will and so will the Openflash one sold on their website.

As for "backfire" and launch control, both will give you launch control. I'm sure if you ask the tuner to custom make a tune that will give afterburn pops and bangs they would, but they will probably charge you extra for a custom tune. On OFT you can edit the tune files yourself to give it the effect. It does take some know how and time to learn the software though.

If you buy oft buy their fftec flex kit as it works off slightly different voltages than the moto east or deliceous flex kits and the oft tune is set up for the fftec kit. Also i think the oft guys package their flex kit with the free flex tune. The oft tune requores an evap ecu connection. You use oft as ethanol display.

Same with deliceous if you use thier tune use their flex kit its set up for their tune and generally its an rear 02 connect kit. Its blutooth so doesnt come with a display you use your phone

Always best to use matched comonents from same supplier especially if you have any problems the support will be better and less hassle.

Ecutek tune will be locked

Both sgould make similar power, ecutek will have a couple more features like launch flat foot shift and autoblip on downshift.

Im not sure the oft flex tunes have launch or ffs features, if someone has the oft flex let me know if those available

As of right now ffs and launch control are not added in the flexfuel tune. Shiv said it will be available later tho.
