Hey guys! So Pinnacle Advanced Driving Academy is helping the Ontario Mustang Club run a Toronto Motorsports Park day and it looks like they need some help filling out spots.
The best part? It is HEAVILY subsidized by the club. When? July 22nd, 2017 (Saturday) Where? Toronto Motorsports Park / Cayuga / TMP - 1040 Kohler Rd, Cayuga, ON How much? This is the BEST part - there are three events: If you Pre-register by July 8th: TRACK TIME (9-5): $85 <-- That's right - EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS ONLY. DRAG STRIP (9-5): $35 SHOW 'N SHINE: $15 At the gate pricing: Track Time: $120 Drag Strip: $45 Show 'n shine: $25 The track will be run by the Pinnacle Advanced Driving Academy with FREE instruction. CORRECTION: For those of you that read my initial post, I made a mistake on the details of what you had to email the club. I've updated with the correct details in my post. Sorry for the mistake!

Shoot. I won't be home until the weekend after this. Would have definitely jumped on this deal if it would have worked out.

I have a friend who would most likely share driving a couple laps in my car, is it 85$ for primary and secondary driver?

Currently, there are only 20 signups and the Mustang club has stated they want to see 50. If 50 do show up, PADA intends on splitting everyone into groups and limiting each group's track time to 15 minutes. With 50 folks that would likely mean groups of 12-13 cars out on the track at any given moment so you wait 45 minutes for 15 minutes of track time. That means you will see a maximum of roughly 1.5hrs of ON TRACK time which is plenty. Keep in mind, you're only paying $56.67 per hour of ON-TRACK time. I find for TMP, 15 minutes on gives you plenty of time to warm up, get a few hot laps and cool down. 45 minutes of down time means you have plenty of time to tweak, hydrate and go use the facilities or ride along with other folks. Hope that answers your question. |
Ohhh, on my birthday!

I'll most likely go. I have yet to go to TMP and I still have to map it in my daq. Thank for letting me know.

@wparson I haven't forgotten about you ^^.
I'm assembling more prototypes now. I'll probably end up w/ 5 or so if nothing burns up... The main hurdle right now for me is the form factor; it's still designed to replace the oem clock. If it was up to you, would you want it to replace the clock or do you want something to like an OFT? |
