Front Pipe Install
 

I have a Berk catless front pipe I am going to install in a few days on my 2015 BRZ. The only exhaust mods I have is the Invidia N1 catback. Should the install be pretty simple? Any recommendations for anything? I am the least handy with cars and haven't done much at all. Thanks!

It's pretty straight forward really. The only recommendation I have is not to do a straight pipe lol!

I suggest you do the humfrz method of exhaust installation.

1. Pick up phone, make an appointment at a muffler shop.

2. Drive your car and the new front pipe to the muffler shop.

3. Have a cup of coffee and read part of a car mag.

4. Pay them about $35.

5. Stop at a store and buy ear plugs.

6. Return home and take a nap.

See how easy that was ..... ;)

I took your advice although I had my front thing, OP thingy and wotnot installed about 18months ago.

Good call.

Yep, that thingy can be a bitch and the wotnot install even worse.

Back-in-the-day, I did all my own exhaust work ...... of course, I was a master with baling wire, being born and raised on a farm and all ...... :)

I suppose an exhaust pointing up is better for the back.. beats lying on your back in the farm yard..

Yep, the install was easier ..... the downside was when the muffler rusted out and grandpa just pounded a one foot length of water pipe into the manifold so as the exhaust fumes and noise came out about four feet from my head.

After a 12 hour day of smelling and listening to that ...... cleaning out the pig pens was a welcome relief ...... :bonk:

I always dream of wanting to run a rare breeds pig farm.. but I don't think I would have the heart to take them to a slaughterhouse. But high on tractor fumes and all that tractor noise filling my head who knows what I would do...
