Vibration/Crunch noise on wheels or suspension area

Hey y'all,

It's been going in for quiet awhile, but I never really worried about it till now. So when I brake hard, I can hear vibration noises in my wheels/rotors area. I can mostly hear it in the front, barely in the back. However, as I continue driving, the sound continue will continue for about a minute after braking. Do you think it'd be the rotors? I also have the Tein Flex Z coil overs, but I don't think that'd be the cause...

If the vibration only happened when the brakes are applied, I would suspect that your car has at least one warped rotor.

Do you track your car .... ??

Do you go down long, steep hills often ... ??

I don't track, but I do go through steep hills at fast speeds. And I'm ruthless to my brakes. I'm really hoping it's my rotor...

Well, rotors are relatively inexpensive and relatively easy to replace.

You may wish to take your car into the dealer or a brake shop and have them check out/replace the rotors.

Do you hear only like a metal scratching noise? or do you hear cricket noises while you're driving too?

I ask because I heard cricket noises coming from the tire area, I still have stock coil overs but I can't say thats the problem. I have some scratching noises too and I changed my rotors and break pads. So far it has seemed to take care of that problem, but I still hear some noises.

Well, ya, on the Puyallup Indian reservation, down along River Road, just behind the Pot Shop, an old Indian sells this herb mixture, that makes voices and those sounds .....go away ...... :happyanim:
