Annoyed about my order
 

Placed order with deposit the day before on-sale date. Was told to expect my car in September.

Contacted by dealer on Tuesday that my October order is now likely to arrive in December.

While at the dealership I was told I was only the 3rd person to put down a deposit at that dealership.

Surely with the dealership receiving 2 cars per month, I reasonably shouldn't be expecting to wait until December.

another person annoyed about waiting? man read the forums some more before posting, We are all sick of waiting.

If you hate it that much get your deposit back and walk out.. complaining just makes people more frustrated... I know it makes you feel better to vent.. we all know..

Mate I'm #1 in line and have been since launch at my dealership, I still have to wait until November like a majority of other people.

Just needed to vent. I get excited seeing other people receive theirs. Hate the fact the dealerships no limited amounts of information.

understand your concerns, most of the folks on here are waiting for their cars, but please lets keep it to one thread , there are like 3 threads with the same issue already

Yeah I don't get it, I'm in the same boat too. Keeps getting delayed and I ordered in March. Clearly it's all a load of bull! How can dealers get 2 cars a month and you have to wait that long knowing you where the 3rd or 4th in line ?

May be 3rd or 4th deal sign up by that particular salesperson, not the dealer?

If I wasn't fussy about my choice in transmission, colour, and trim level, I'd be tempted to drive to VIC or WA or almost anywhere where I see 86's at the dealer waiting for owners.

But I want a GTS. I want it in Auto. I want it to be in Mt Fuji Red.

So I wait, I read forums, I look at pictures and watch youtube, I read the BRZ manuals that I've downloaded. And I will call the Toyota salesman once a month to get a status update in the hope that November magically decides to materialize straight after July.

Not gonna happen I know, but I've read the first 3 Harry Potter books so that makes me an expert in living under my Aunt's staircase, flying broomsticks and waving wands. Who knew that Hermione would be so hot as she matured?

There is a VERY small chance we may have a white GTS AUTO coming up in approx 2 or 3 weeks...

I was 3 or 4 th in the dealership.
I'm either going to look around if I can get one elsewhere or just get a WRX

No idea where I rank in my dealership (3rd, 4th etc) but I'm pretty sure I'll get mine before the majority of other people who ordered through my dealership, because my sales guy told me basically I was the only one who ordered a GT, everybody else wanted a GTS :D

Like most here, I'm concerned that Nov/Dec delivery will become Feb/Mar next year.
