Yea we made a mistake, there was no intent to fraud him and rip him off. It would have been nice to given a little bit of time to respond before he blew us up. We unfortunately do make mistakes here, but not trying to send him a guage panel pretending it to be a header and hoping we trick him into believing it was a header.

On Amazon, he could have easily returned it or asked for a return. Instead he turned in into a full fraud claim. On Amazon most consumers have full protection against fraud.

Regardless, everyone can be assured, we will take responsibiiity for our mistakes and refund the customer.

Lol I was being facetious but good on you guys, glad you came through.

It was human error, computers rarely make those mistakes. We put the wrong label on the box. Mistakes happen, we will make it right.

At least he has an excuse to go turbo. I will take the blame for it. lol

holy christ in a handbasket.......talk about impatiently freaking out.........what a drama queen. I read this whole thread and my hand was over my face the entire time.

Time for you to apologize to @Gruppe-s :slap:

Soloside 06-30-2017 10:41 AM

He's seems like the type of guy to order an e-tune at 10 pm on a Friday night and make a scam thread Monday morning.

WAITED 2 FULL DAYS AND NO TUNE. SCAM VENDOR!!111!!11!!

JazzleSAURUS 06-30-2017 10:59 AM

I found OP.

I don't imagine an apology is coming but you at least owe it to them to edit the post title. In terms of who is "full of it" you've honestly failed completely to hand the title over.

This was a good Friday night read.

I eagerly await the first time there is an issue with the turbo and he calls while sombody is on the shitter or something. I do not understand this thought process that dictates that relatively small venders are sitting waiting for calls or for emails to pop up. It is right in line with people here that will ask a question (usually found in the owner manual) at 7 am on a Sunday and get pissy because it is now 10 am and nobody answered. I suppose there is now a whole generation that is used to and expect instant gratification. Thanks a lot Internet.

Exactly why I retracted my comment.

And another reason why I won't start my own home business :D

I'm sick of them getting on my lawn since we are making complaints.
They also require 24/7 stimulation. Right now my son is doing college homework, while simultaneously watching a youtube gaming video, and texting his girlfriend.

Hey, everybody deserves a break every now and then. However, it sounds like maybe you make a habit of not answering your phone, and I'm also wondering whether you left any sort of out-of-office message on your line to let customers know you were closed for vacation. Did OP call you nine times only to listen to the phone ring indefinitely each time?

And do you even have a website any more? The only page I find for you is almost blank.

carsebuco 07-03-2017 01:06 AM

If I complain on this thread will I get a discount? Been thinking about getting their uel header anyways lol

Should have just messaged them here. They were the easiest and fastest transaction I've had in a long time. PM in the morning , shipping ID in the afternoon!lol

The irony is that they seek help and answers on the internet, and the answers are already out there... on the internet.

Instead of creating a new thread, they just need to use the mystical search function on google, and their questions would be answered much quicker.

Problem is people are just too damn lazy.

Sometimes it is better to lose a certain type of customer. :sigh:

extrashaky 07-06-2017 03:04 PM

I'm still wondering if he went off on vacation without leaving any sort of message on his voice mail that he wasn't available. OP overreacted, but I'm sure I would have been irritated if the guy didn't answer his phone for a couple of days with no explanation.

In fact, I had that happen to me when I bought the disc brake kit for the Dana 60 on my Gladiator. Only one company in the US makes it. I ordered it by phone, and the guy was supposed to get back to me with a shipping total later in the day. I didn't hear from him. I called a few times over the next few days (not 9 times like freakshow here) and got nothing but their regular voice mail. Turned out they closed up shop and went on vacation right after taking my order without bothering to put anything on their website or their voice mail.

Everything worked out in the end, and the product was fine when I finally got it. Yet the way it was handled wasn't professional at all. If you're going to hang your shingle out to do business, there are certain expectations. They didn't meet them.

It doesn't sound like the vendor here did either, regardless of all the heavy petting going on in this thread.

Impureclient 07-09-2017 12:35 AM

I never heavy pet my Gruppe-s UEl header and I even got it ceramic coated.

The buyer made a big deal out of nothing, but the vendor did themselves no favors by not putting up any "out of office" notice, especially when it was not a public holiday.

90% of the replies in this thread are siding with the vendor, but they are not blameless in this matter.

HunterGreene 07-10-2017 12:56 PM

Anyone notice that the OP has disappeared from this thread?

Maybe he had to wait more than 5 seconds for his Spongebob binge on Netflix to load and he cancelled his ISP.

Yeah, pretty much, but most of take a few deep breaths before jumping into the deep end.
Not only that, he said he would never buy from Amazon again!!

Sideways 07-10-2017 06:56 PM

This thread is epic....people these days just don't have patience or trust on someone else.

But yeah, where is OP.

Dave-ROR 07-11-2017 12:20 PM

@SUB-FT86 - why aren't you replying to this thread?

This was quite possibly the most insane overreaction to a simple mistake I've seen in awhile.

You have been online today....

Because he realizes he made himself look like a jackass and is staying as far away from this thread as possible.

Right?!?! It's been a few days and he hasn't said anything back. Somebody ban him immediately. This is ridiculous. No excuse for anybody to not reply to a thread immediately, especially when they've been on the forum.

This is ridiculous! This guy is full of it!!!!!

KR-S 07-11-2017 07:31 PM

Eh. Let the OP be. If he doesn't want to reply to this thread, that's his own choice.

I'm very sure he knows he screwed up; he's ashamed of it, yada yada yada. No need for him to get banned.

The matter is resolved. At this point, it would be wise to simply lock the thread.

Careful...Milennials are now defined as being born any time after 1981 (I forget when the upper cutoff is). I am, by definition, a Millenial. And ashamed of my generation.

I think the cutoff is 1994. I'm definitely a millennial myself, but I like what the term does in large pools of people. :D

8RZ 07-12-2017 12:06 PM

I'm a "xennial" lol.
