  • OP could not get a hold of the vendor, panicked, jumped the gun, made a big deal out of seemingly nothing, is getting a refund, and the vendor apologized to him for the mistake.
  • The vendor shipped the wrong product because the label was applied to the wrong package, went on vacation, did not leave out of office/vacation notice on a non-public normal work day, and rectified the situation with the buyer without apologizing for the lack of communication (about them being out of office).

Did I cover everything?

Left out the drama!!

I'm not ashamed though. They made the mistake and they said sorry. If they had left a message on their phone about being on vacation there would've never been a thread to begin with.

This thread should have ended when the matter was resolved, but here you are still bitching about it.

If he had left a message that his whole company was on vacation I would be more understanding. I tried to contact his company 4 ways to let him know about this. I'm sure that most of you guys on here don't give a shit about service but I'm not you guys. What I can't understand is that some folks on here have said Gruppe-S is notorious for not answering messages or phone calls yet that implies to me Gruppe-S knows that they have a customer service issue way before me. If you guys want to continue to make excuses for them be my guess.

As others have pointed out, yes Gruppe-S should have left a message that they were on vacation and hopefully this disaster of a thread will have at least a silver lining if they finally start doing that from now on.

That in no way excuses your manchild behavior. You still went about this the wrong way and refused to own up to it while Gruppe-S has already done so several pages ago.

By the way, I will retract my previous suggestion of locking the thread. Despite my own reservations about you, I was honestly hoping to see you save some face and redeem yourself, but oh well. At this rate, I won't be surprised if your attitude puts you on a few vendor blacklists.

Oh, and either sell off that Altima part, or buy an Altima to put it on.

I got the right product from a recent Amazon purchase, but the wrong receipt. I'm debating putting them on blast for terrible customer service.

Well, which one was cheaper? If the receipt was less than what you bought, complain about being overcharged!!!
Was the receipt for something on an Altima?;)

That means that someone out there got your receipt, with all of your info on it. What a breach of privacy. You should take them to court. What color McLaren are you buying?!:burnrubber:

An order I placed on Prime Day was lost in transit. Where do a make a thread and who do I complain to about it?

STV3 07-18-2017 04:59 PM

I once ordered something with Prime and chose the free 2 day shipping. Would you believe those effers delivered it to me next day!? How dare they provide me with incorrect shipping information! The deceit!

Hawk77FT 07-18-2017 07:19 PM

I also remember the time when I ordered nothing and got nothing instead. Not even an email informing me that nothing will be sent in couple of days. Really disappointing and sad!

Make a thread anywhere! Just use ALL CAPS!

I once ordered a phone holder from a vendor and chose to pick it up myself. Could you believe that they mistakenly shipped it out, and told me it was free of charge? The nerve of those people! Unfairly denying me the chance to burn a few calories!
