shift knob question

hello fella, sorry for my rather noobish question but will this shift knob fit into an Automatic transmission? or is it specifically for manual only? or doesn't matter at all? thank you very much for helping me out and hope you guys all have a wonderful day :)

I'm pretty sure its for manual only because in the item description it says its made to fit reverse lock which is only on manual cars

You just need an adapter 12x1.25 to 10x1.25 to use manual shift knob for automatic shifter. You will also need a way to figure out to attach the boot to knob.

Couldn't help but notice the slight irony in "mrhandle" asking a handle-esque question.

Thank you! one last question, can I simply just buy shift knob and its adapter and expect it to be done? not quite sure what it means by attaching the boot to a knob. sorry, I'm fairly young and don't really know this kind of stuff that well... so please pardon me :(

EDIT: Also, I'm inteseted in buying this as well and it seems its for an automatic transmission so I'm good. However, on the description, it says it won't fit if I have a push-button start automatic and needed to have their gate shift lever. don't really know what it means but mine have push button start so I'm confused already.

I have an automatic with the push start and 10x1.25 shift knobs fit just fine. I have a dragonball one.:party0030:

Just unscrew the shift knob, twist it counterclockwise. The knob will come off and it will also separate from the boot cover. You will see.
