Junkman's Rapid Remover and RapidTac II Review

In this video, I review a product that I will be using in the next episode of "Project Liberty." This is an adhesive remover that works like the cat's meow. If you have any kind of glue substance stuck on your paint and you address it IN A TIMELY MANNER, this stuff will probably remove it and remove it fast. Road tar, burnout rubber, decals, stickers (and Lord knows that you Jeep folks LOVE your stickers!), vinyl graphics... you name it, that stuff is yesterday's news. Watch the video and see for yourself.

The car in the video is my 2004 Jeep Liberty. It is the same Jeep that I am working on that caused the duct tape issue in THIS video.

Unless you were a Jeep owner or a mechanic, you wouldn't know this.

Ah that makes sense now, I didn't realize the demo car was a Jeep! :D

Yea, you really can't tell unless you own one. I never thought the day would come when I would own one until my buddy wanted to sell it for a thousand bucks. It took me $200 to fix everything that was wrong with it at the time. It blue books for $3000 - $4000 in normal condition and $1400 in completely ragged out condition. This one was in excellent condition except for the paint has its usual swirls. That's why I'm using it in me "Project Liberty" video series that I've posted here.

They're such awful vehicles though. Id flip it ASAP. They are prone to electrical problems and the V6 in them are absolute junk.

Junkman2008 06-28-2017 10:11 PM

Some of them ARE complete junk. I did my homework before I bought this one and the Jeep folks told me that the make and model of the year mine is was okay. They told me to never overheat the engine and that it was a gas guzzler. Well they were right about the thing drinking gas. As for the V6 being junk, I don't know a car with a V6 that ain't junk. I have never owned a V6 car. I've only owned big block and small block V8 Chevy motors. I'm use to hitting the gas and going sideways so having a V6 car is kinda like going from NASCAR to box car racing. Even my 30+ year old El Camino, with more rust on it than the Titanic has more motor in it than my Corvette and that beast is a BLAST to drive. You can see why it only gets 8 miles to the gallon.
