Swift Spec R Springs on Toyota 86 2017
I know these springs were made for the FRS/BRZ versions, but does anyone have these on their 2017 86? How does it ride?

If you simply can't wait then I think they will be worth the gamble. Worst case the damping has changed more than anyone realizes and the Swift's don't ride well and you end up selling them when something better comes along. I suspect the damping changes aren't that massive and the Swift's will work just fine.
I'm sure some will vehemently disagree, but I think this goes for pretty much all lowering springs that currently have a good reputation. Nothing major about the suspension has changed to my knowledge other than some damper and spring rate tweaks, theoretically if you grabbed some '13-'16 dampers and put swift springs on them you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a '17 with that setup and a '13-'16 with the same setup. |
If you really don't like them on the new struts, you can grab a set of 13-16 struts for super cheap to use instead and sell your low mileage 17's all put back together.

The weird thing is I actually emailed swift regarding springs for my 2017 86. They told me to just use the ones made for for 13+ FRS/BRS. This makes me think that they aren't going to come out with springs specifically made for the 2017 86.
