07 STI Wheels??

I can get my hands on a set of Stock 07 STI Gold BBSs for basically nothing.. Was wondering if there would be any fitment issues at stock ride height.. as well as lowered with springs? I know that the STI Bolt Pattern is 5x114 and ours is 5x100. Now I do see adapters out there, but not sure which size would be best for front and rear? Any input would be appreciated. THANKS!

You need conversion spacers. 2007 STi wheels were 17x8+53, 5x114.3 PCD, 56.1 center bore.

Spacers. Note that it's a pair of 15mm and a pair of 25mm. Wider goes on the back.

This will effectively make the front wheels 17x8+38 and the rear 17x8+28. Both of which will fit just fine. You could run a 215 to a 235 tire with no issues. 245 will start to be pinched on an 8" wheel.

Edit- those are apparently on back order. Here's some more. http://www.b2autodesigns.com/product...oducts_id=9059

There are 15mm ISC conversion spacers in the classifieds for a great price.

Look at the stickies in the wheel and tire section. They get into technical descriptions about what each number means and how it relates to the whole. It's very useful, even just as background knowledge.

Here's what your wheels will look like. Yours would just be 15mm further out. He went with 2004 STi wheels because they're 5x100.

I forgot something. With 15mm spacers, the OEM lugs will still stick out a bit. Make sure the STi wheels have pockets on the mounting surface so the OEM lugs have somewhere to go. They should. If they don't, you have three options. 1: don't get the wheels. 2: get 25mm spacers; those will clear the OEM lugs so it won't be a problem. 3: dremel the OEM lugs shorter. I really wouldn't do this just to save money on wheels.

That was in reference to point 3, not point 1. The original BBS STi wheels aren't my favorite, but they do look pretty good. And they clear larger brakes if that's something you're looking for. I personally want more of a dish on my wheels.
