Ohio Company Needs Car For R&D...AGAIN :)
EDIT: NEW R&D need...as of April 2015
The scan gauges from Aeroforce have been out for a long time now, but they are looking to add some more functionality and need a BRZ or FRS for testing... *Aeroforce is looking for a FRS/BRZ owner to help add increased functionality to their Interceptor CNE line of scan gauges...they'll only need the car for about a day Aeroforce (Looking for FRS/BRZ) North Ridgeville, OHIO Email: service@aeroforcetech.com Website: http://www.aeroforcetech.com/contact_us.html See R&D thread here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5520 |
I'll contact them later this week. They can borrow it all week long the week before labor day.
I've used their gauges for my FI'd mustang, and they work great |
I am in columbus. I can usually make it there for 2 days at a time if need be.
PM me if you want. |

North Ridgeville??? I am from Olmsted Falls... Right next door. I wish i had my car... :(

I traded a couple emails with them today. We agreed that a Sat would work best for them and myself. I'm just not sure yet which Sat. that will be.
I'll update if/when we set a date. |

They didn't say anything about multiple cars to me. We only traded a couple emails and I'm going to wait to hear back from them on which Saturday works best for me to head over.

Manual or Auto transmission? Does it matter?
|
They didn't ask me which transmission I have, so maybe it doesn't matter?
Not sure though.. you could email them and ask. I have a 6MT by the way. |

Did anyone make traction with this???
|
I contacted them but they never got back to me. I can tell you when I had my mustang and went FI, the aeroforce guages were extremely accurate.
|
I stopped in last summer and let them do the R&D. I played the gauges a bit. They are definitely more accurate than what you would get with a bluetooth app like Torque. I think they finally helped me get the display latency figured out so that the screen updates cleaner and faster.
I need to decide how and where to install it. I hate A-pillar gauges, so I'm looking for an alternative. Perhaps I could put it in on the left side of the cluster in front of the speedo.. since we have the digital readout I have no need to look at the analog. |
