Is anyone interested in this? (rear audio and more)
I got my 2013 FR-S with 22k a couple months back. Completely stock with a TRD cat-back. Most notable was the stock stereo. Complete garbage honestly and I came from a 2015 Chevy Colorado with Bose and a Kicker V.S.S. under the rear seat. I'm a huge audiophile. Most people ponder on the purchase of a mattress purchase because a third (hypothetically) of your life is spent there, I focus on audio in every vehicle because its a daily used compliment to driving. Great audio can really make any shi**y or joyful trip that much better. Head-unit went immediately to a Pioneer with the MOSFET amp. Now that the stock stereo had a little power, every single rattle was exposed. A Aultraslian company charges $200+ for a precut sound deadening kit for doors...too much. I bought a $70 kit off Amazon of sheets and spend some garage time. Worked beyond my expectations. I just dropped a small amp/sub setup in the trunk to finish it off and am about to address the whole rear of the car. Is this something the forum would like detailed? I can reflect on the door deadening, amp kit install, and give details about the rear deadening. Lmk if this would be something anyone would be interested in. I found useful bits and pieces of all these installs all over but not in one source. :party0030:
