Tell them they need to address the fuel starvation issues when taking a banked high speed high g-force left sweeping turn on the... interstate.

Also, power steering cutting out when you have wide tires that you're aggressively turning from side to side, but definitely not during any form of motorsports because that would void the warranty, is not a safety feature. It's a liability.

I can't believe no one has built/sells a bolt in fuel cell, or at least a baffled replacement tank for these cars that are tracked so much.

I've never heard about the steering issue, but I haven't autox or tracked this car.

Vista still works great. F you all!

I had no idea this silly post would become about operating systems. You never know where thus crowd will go.

I used to have to switch 5 1/4 disks in my Apple IIe. No hard drive.

I still have copies of DOS 1.1 - 5.x laying around as well as a copy of Windows 1.1 loaded on my Windows 10 gaming computer (just to show off that it will work and what a piece of ugm...still needs work...it was). Here's a photo of the disks and a shot of the only useful thing in Windows 1.0.

I just found my original Woflenstein 3.5 disks.

Didn't see this topic taking a turn down the history of Windows OS or internet preference bias but back to the fact this is a forum based on Toyota 86 or Scion FR-S (Murica) and Subaru BR-Z is the reason you're posting here. Toyota has always fully supported the Scion brand. Seeing as pretty much every shell of the Scion FR-S, minus the front bumper and "86" front fender flares, is labeled "Subaru" via embedded labels. Subaru made the entire drivetrain essentially but offered alternative cosmetic aesthetics as well as interior options in collabing with Toyota/Scion for cheaper purchase points. So no, Toyota isn't the primary brand in my opinion. Subaru is and deserves their credit in this creation. Toyota/Scion is a visual and interior option with price varying. No push start, no heated seats, ...etc. Still 90% Subaru under skin. Toyota/Scion is an option until the discontinuation of Scion thus breeding the "Toyota 86" now being produced. Pop your hoods and check your quarter panels or pop your interior door panels off. "Subaru" is printed proudly.

Oh sorry, you must the primary reason why new users have to dig thru countless post of useless BS when they hit "search" button to find facts. New person searches for useful facts but have to dig thru useless replies like yours to find any helpful information then get scolded for expediting the desired question by posting a new thread and asking for links. Thought the points of forums was to share knowledge while not scolding the curious????

Example in this forum: Started with the nature of the Toyota/Subaru build of FR-S/BR-Z that got diluted to OS and Internet Browser being used and I brought the post back to it's main topic. You posted this on a FR-S/BR-Z forum, Sapphireho. If you wish to have a d*&% measuring contest on OS or browser preference, there's more appropriate places for that. Car forum here..stop diluting useful information to people seeking that.

This thread (part of a forum not a forum) was started by the guy you are harrasing. It was not an analytical assessment of who made what but a light hearted semi joke. You want useful info go to the tech threads. The rest of us will enjoy the social interaction of which you seem oblivious.

Subaru assembled the car. They didn't make anything.
