Anyone make a detachable steering wheel HUB yet?
 

Im about to decide on my roll cage with a harness bar. I also have Status seats and 6 point schroth harnesses on the way . I have no need for airbags in my car and will be removing them completely. Any one know of a steering wheel hub for the FR-S? I saw one on the HKS GT86 car and was wondering if anyone knew who made it. :thanks:

BTW for the safety whores, car is driven 98% of the time @ the track dont give a crap about your safety concerns on my well being i am removing them because i have no need for them with a cage and harnesses.

Also wondering this, i know my friends IS300 uses a hub from older toyota i wonder if the FR-S uses the same as another model. I have a nardi classic ready to go on whenever i get the car.

I wonder if the car will use a subaru or toyota part!! I know the greddy fr-s has a steering wheel hub i might just call them up tomorrow.

Yesterday at the Torrance toyota meet there was someone who had a detachable steering wheel. He said when he installed it he had the remove the LSD/Trac option off. So basically he cant turn off trac or the LSD

Talk to NRG I know they have one available, I had it on my car for test fit, but didn;t leave it on and lose my airbag

Did anyone get an answer to this riddle as yet.. I am having problems getting in and out of my race car with the cage... I could do with a removable steering wheel.. is it Subi or Toyota ??
