car cover
Hello,
I hadn't tried to search for related started threads, but does anyone have any good experience with using different car covers , or at least has one they really like a lot? I'm looking to buy one in early July, as Ebay is going to cash me out some Ebay bucks , so I can use it on a good car cover purchase. I'd want to spend $100-125 , I don't think I need to go beyond $125, given what I've seen on Ebay. There is a BRZ car cover on there for $99 , and it is OE Subaru. Please let me know, thanks in advance. |

This looks like it do the trick for you: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/222059140...84.m1436.l2649 |
Thanks, but they don't ship to the USA. I wonder how good of quality it is, and how small of a space does it take up when folded up?! I suppose most car covers don't block UV light….

Unless you got a friend to sent it too in Australia or some shipping company that diverts mail to a USA address. I've seen some online in the USA that do a simular serivice, but they do charge a percent of delivery.

Hi Chris,
Do you own that car cover? I can probably get a collector friend in Australia to get one for me, then I'd have to pay shipping to me. Just not sure on its quality…… bang for the buck... |
I never had one myself it looks good to me, but yes there's always the chance its a waste of money:iono:

What exactly do you want a cover for? Long term storage? Rainy days? Just to keep the dust off?
Not all covers work as well for each purpose. Any half decent cover will be UV resistant enough. Making a big deal about that is just marketing hype. |
Mostly to just keep dust/ dirt off, when parked outside (possible tree droppings/ sap. It would be intermittent , 1 day here, 3 days there kind of thing.
I'll look into Cover-king. Also a cover that is fairly compact is another + , less space the better if at all possible |
Looks like after doing some good research, I'm going with a CoverKing , either a Stormproof or Silverguard Plus. Slight... slight chance I may go with the Silverguard (at $140)

I have the Coverbond 4, awesome, fits snug, antenna relief and well made.

Thanks for the info, glad you like yours
https://www.coverking.com/view-custom-car-covers/ I like their approach to seams. I'm most likely going with the Stormproof ($240) , Silverguard + ( $180) , or Silverguard ( $140) . I'm going to talk to a rep on the phone tomorrow, and have them help me narrow it down. |
