5 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY 2013 SCION FRS

Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section.

Just wanted to say hey to the FT86 community, I finally signed up right after getting my 2013 Scion FRS. Love the car so much, made a video of some of my thoughts. If you got a YouTube with your channel head over & comment. Would love to see other peoples FRS/BRZ videos. Can't wait to add more content.

Nice! Congratulations on your twin! It's refreshing to see this after seeing all these 'X things I hate about my 86' videos.

The great thing about this car is that if there are certain aspects of it that annoy you, the aftermarket is so huge that there's bound to be a way to fix them.

Good point about not rushing the build. You want to make it your own, but take time to decide what you want that car to do and specifically what you want to improve and how much. A lot of people ruin cars for themselves by bolting a bunch of parts to them and then they complain that it's too harsh and too loud and smells bad. Sounds like you're on the right track though.

Enjoy the car. They are so much better stock than people give them credit for!

Wow I love reading this ! You're 100% correct, and I'm just excited to see what the future holds. Doing so much research compared to my last build years ago (99 Civic LX). I really just rushed and bought. Not anymore, weighing all my options.

Thanks about the original part, had to make the video my own. Guess it's the artist side of me (trying to be creative). This build will definitely reflect my character.

@rookietopro_frs

You presentation was mature, genuine and without ego. Much appreciated in the world of car enthusiasts where may seem to be in a contest to out "bro" each other. Even unmodded the car is one of the best designs on the road at any price. I could relate to what you were saying about looking back. My 2013 Raven FR-S, I'm still glancing at.

Keep it up, and don't forget to ad a lavalier mic. Even a $22 cheapie will drastically improve your ability to be heard over background noise and any music you choose to add. Like this one... https://www.amazon.com/Professional-...s=lavalier+mic

Wow I really appreciate you saying these things. Yeah just being myself in the video. I'm looking in to a microphone to record better audio ASAP ! Thank you for the affordable suggestion.

This is kinda an expensive option for a camera mic, but I very much enjoy it. I couldn't be happier with the output it has! Superb and very easy to use.

OOH I was considering that too, but yeah the price. Plus I got rid of my DSLR a while back ... looking for a new setup now. Thanks for the suggestion

You bet. My Rode Mic even works when I hook it up to my phone. Which I thought was neat.

Thank you so much ! It's so good having a project car, that's not a daily.

Some people tell me to do a "5 Things I Hate" video .... but that isn't possible. Still LOVE this car & excited about it's future.

Wish I could add more, FRS only made me happier with time
