Gee, let's ponder that...

1) Hassle of securing another ride
2) Dealing with insurance companies/body shops and all of their related nonsense (this could be broken down into several subcategories)
3) Health issues, injuries
4) Your car is never quite the same after body repair no matter how good the work may be

So you've never vented about anything, right? You're free to not read these threads if they trigger you so much.

Well that depends a lot on how much damage was done and what you consider "not as good". If just some panels were bent (or in my case cut) then the car performs exactly the same as always. The repair is totally invisible and there is no way anybody would ever know it was done.
Now, there is the possibility I could have some rust issues there way down the road but by then it would be the least of my worries. So for all intents and purposes there is zero change to the car and it is very much the same as it was before.

I had my car three weeks when I passed an accident happening at the time and my car got sprayed by small pieces of the vehicles. The damage was just superficial, but required half the car to be repainted (I know, I couldn't believe it either). I love the car now and I am grateful that no further physical damage occurred, but was I happy with it?...Hell no!

I am happy that my son and I were in a car that could swerve around the debris so well and possibly save our lives, as the accident was a head-on.

I feel for the OP...it's a shame that someone doesn't.

Probably is soup. I had a long day and took a hoist arm to the back of the head. If I couldn't dictate this I'd be screwed
