Gauge install questions

I'm trying to install some Innovate MTX-D gauges.
1. I'm trying to install the oil temp/press gauge, and the threads for the sensors are 1/8 NPT, and the sandwich plate threads are 1/8 PT. I found this http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/1-8-2...hread-adapter/ What is the difference between 1/8 PT and 1/8 BSPT? 2. On the boost gauge, where do I tap into with the vacuum hose going to the gauge? I have a works stage 2 kit. Can you put a T right after the diverter valve on the line that goes to the brake booster? |
1. They are the same. Pipe thread style. US gauges are NPT (I'm guessing National Pipe Thread). Defi gauges and other imports are PT. BSPT is like British Standard Pipe Thread or something. Tapered versus straight.
