EXHAUST MOD THOUGHTS

Planning on getting exhaust parts for my 86.
I was planning on getting these parts:

INVIDIA N1 CAT BACK EXHAUST, INVIDIA CATLESS FRONTPIPE, TOMEI EXPREME OVERPIPE

? UEL TOMEI EXPREME OR EL TOMEI EXPREME ?

Don't know which header I would like to purchase.

Thoughts and comments welcome for the exhaust build. I prefer louder the better, with a deep tone. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

the louder the better w/ deep tone?

Get Tomei 80R.

I was hoping to get a dual exit and not just single exit.

I would considere resonated front pipe

HKS or Fujitsubo double resonated front pipe. With just straight catless, no resonators it's going to be raspy no doubt

And as for headers, it really depends if you wanna sound like a subaru or honda.

Whats the difference if I went the N1 route compared to the HKS and fujitsubo.

Not a big fan of the Subaru "rumble", but wouldn't mind it.

You'll get plenty of drone with that N1 catback. ;)

Lol that exhaust is going to sound like aids with a side of brain cancer.

I love loud bikes and cars too....this setup is going to be louder than you think and sound worse than you're hoping.

I don't mind the drone, since the car I had some drone as well.

I like deep sounding and not as raspy. Not sure how this would sound, but I'm not getting everything all at same time. Prob the N1 first then judge how loud it is and move from there. First and foremost would be getting the exhaust system itself and I'm still conflicted on which one to get.

Still dont understand why everyone is drawn to the N1 as the first exhaust they want.

I'm going to admit it was my first choice as well. Luckily my mechanic told me it was a bad idea and never did it. It's just strange evertime i see someone say "buying a new exhaust!" its always paired with "Thinking about the N1!"

It's honestly probably the price point and the fact that on Youtube vids it actually sounds pretty good. But after driving a car that has the EXACT same setup the OP was suggesting...it's one of the worst things in the world. Cant talk to anyone, cant listen to music, basically deaf when getting out of the car. Drones at even the lowest of RPM driving.
