SOLD:)

For sale MCS single adjustable coilovers with HVT camber plate.

Second owner, only had on car for 2 weeks I don't track or autox competitively enough to justify. ~15k miles on them

Hyperco Springs front 400#
HR Springs Rear 400#
2 spanner wrenches
4 adjustment knobs
2 MCS sticker swag...

No problems or strange sounds. They work great and would be awesome setup with competitive autox setup.

I have a virtually identical set of MCS singles installed on my FR-S, but I run square Swift 8K springs along with Vorshlag Motorsports camber plates and rear shock mounts. I have almost $3,700 tied up in mine and absolutely love them. I've been watching your listing with amusement because of the incredible deal you're offering - the biggest problem you're having is most people on this forum don't realize that these are superior to AST and very worthy competitors to Moton and JRZ dampers, and you're selling them for a steal!

I have no affiliation with the seller, but people wake up! If someone is on the fence on these feel free to PM with questions and I can tell you a little about their real world performance along with my personal experience with Lex Carson and MCS as a company.

Thanks for the kind words . Yep a little surprised these haven't sold yet. The company itself is great and will pick up the phone every time and answer any questions you've got. If you're in the market for an extremely high quality coilover setup this setup will perform and for less than the price of kw v3 or rce setup.

These are actually BETTER than the Moton dampers and similarly priced JRZ sets. The MCS have updates that the Motons lack, and have much better QC than the JRZ.

This ad is for is a competition level damper for the price of a sporty street setup.

I believe it, but couldn't speak from direct experience without having owned the Motons or JRZs - what I can say is that my MCS dampers are the finest I've ever owned. MCS did the initial inspection and rebuild on my units and then your team at Vorshlag Motorsport did the assembly and set up, along with providing camber plates and rear shock mounts. Between the two, I feel like I got the best guidance and support in the industry - which is just another reason why someone should grab these units in a heartbeat!

How do these compare to the RCE Tarmac 2s? Also will these provide decent street ride quality on the soft setting?

I wish I could give you a more informed opinion, but I don't have direct experience with the RCE Tarmac 2 Clubsports. Perhaps @Racecomp Engineering can weigh in on how their dampers compare to those from AST, Moton, and MCS. My instinct is to say that the MCS dampers are on a different level, but again I don't have direct experience to draw from.

As for ride quality, they're fantastic - they ride like a motorsport damper so they're not buttery smooth, but wheel control is excellent and the chassis always remains composed. You asked about comfort with the rebound damping set to full soft, but I run square Swift 8K springs and find the car to be more comfortable with the rebound damping firm enough to offset such stiff springs. My preferred settings are 9 clicks out in the front and 6 clicks out in the rear from full soft out of a total range of 18 clicks. The bottom line is that you will not be disappointed with these coilovers.
