I should start by saying that this is a pretty easy mod and you can get it done in about one hour if you have all the tools with you.

Nice work, although I value my AC vent way too much to do that lol.

Doesn't Alexa need to be tethered to Wi-Fi? I'm not really sure what the benefits of this are?

Neat. I have alot of these functions available with my head unit. I got a pioneer with Android Auto.

alexa does need a WIFI connection, so I just use my Galaxy s8 as a hotspot. Takes 2 seconds if you have it in your quick launcher.

That's pretty neat. Having the buttons not facing the correct direction messes with my OCD, though. I'm not sure how much room there is around the vent, but maybe you could have used a USB cable with a 90-degree connector instead?

lol mine too. Unfortunately I can't place it right up because where the USB cable is located, there is no room on top, plenty of room on the sides though lol... I bought a 90 degree usb cable, going to give it another try next week, stay tuned.
