which H11 replacement bulb

Can we get a consensus and a sticky as to which is the best/brightest H11 bulb that fits in the FRS/BRZ that has the correct voltage and amperage to not blow after 1-2 months.

plug and play HID kits will be the brightest you can get without melting your wires or headlight housings...

NO

explain to me how you can possibly confuse a request for the best H11 bulb with an HID kit?

sylvania silverstars have always been a good upgrade from factory

I've had a few buddies try them and they always seem to go out after a few months...have you used them?

i have on my previous cars and they've lasted me for over 2 years for each car, 1 was a 1998 corolla and 1 was a 2002 toyota tacoma

it's important to never touch the bulb with your bare fingers, always use latex gloves, the oil's on your fingers can create a hot spot on the bulb and can actually cause the bulb to fail prematurely or burst while on

I have the sylvania ZXE's they are pretty nice so far. Not sure how long they will last though. Hopefully at least a year

Have had good luck with most of PIAA's line of bulbs.

i didn't confuse the two... i would go with the HID kit only because they are brighter, and plug and play, but if u must have an actual bulb rather than a conversion kit, then i would suggest sylvania silverstars as previously mentioned... or piaa extreme white plus bulbs if u got a bit more money...

HID kits are pretty widely frowned upon here, except for perhaps cracking open the housing and doing a proper conversion.

As much as pnp hids are frowned upon here, I still love my hid kit.
Sure a proper retrofit is probably the better route. But I still enjoy mines over stock

you may enjoy it, every single other motorist does not, and if it wasnt for tort law i'd carry a baseball bat in my car and smash every single fake-hid car i see.
