Engine tick?
 

So I am freaking out. Yesterday I drove about 10 total hours in the BRZ. Upon coming home I got out of the car to hear what sounds like ticking. From my understanding the engine naturally makes noises, and I have never listened closely. I want some feedback if these sounds are normal or a sign of something worse.

You can hear it inside the car but I cant tell if it is RPM dependent since the exhaust noise covers the ticking.

Sounds normal to me, it's that direct injection sound.

100% normal. I will never get used to those damned injectors.

Mine makes the same sounds. They (the sounds) change depending on how long you have driven...at least mine do. If you wash the road dirt off you car, the car will feel better.

I was hoping no one would notice :cry: just finished a 900 mile road trip with her and didn't get a chance to wash her yet!
