@MarshallBRZ06 LS3 525 Swap/Build
LS3 525 6.2L install by Weapons Grade Performance on 2013 Subaru BRZ. A great build, runs beautifully and it all fits under the hood in a nice tight package. Highly recommend contacting WGP to get some questions answered about having the build done. Was so much help and suffered through all my questions with a smile!
I am here to answer questions for those who are interested in getting a swap done as well as anything they would like to know or see about the car. Here is a list of things done to the car: -LS3 525 6.2L crate engine (new) -SIKKY cold air intake -SIKKY shifter relocation kit -SIKKY engine mounts (I believe) -T56 Magnum 6 speed trans. -Full Blown Motorsports radiator -FBM slim fans -Custom built aluminum drive shaft to length -Driveshaft Shop 600HP rear axles -stand alone ECU communicating with OEM ECU for dash function -DW fuel pump -Optima Red top battery -Magna Flow cat back (custom front pipe aligns with OEM location) -18x9 Tenzo-R rims with 245/40/18 pilot super sports -Skunk2 Coil overs with adjustable camber -Stance adjustable lower control arms -Cusco strut tower bar -raceseng shift knob with VMS racing shift handle -MOMO racing drifting deep dish steering wheel -NRG steering wheel hub adapter -VENT pod with innovate motorsports AFR gauge -Dual vent gauge pod cluster with AEM oil pressure and AEM coolant temp -WeatherTech custom fit matts with BRZ logo -Blacked out inner headlights -Blacked out tail lights -Perrin hand brake release button -LED Million Colour glow kit (interior) -Weathertech floor mats with BRZ emblem That's all I can think of right now. Pending items awaiting install is Rocket Bunny V3 Pandem kit. Wheels are being built (forgestar m14 gloss black), and a full body vinyl wrap, ideas are welcome as I have yet to decide how the car will be vinyl wrapped. There are some pictures of the car on instagram @Marshallbrz06 and I will try to load up some pictures later on. Feel free to ask me anything! |

Looks good, what standalone ECU? Cause that looks like the GM ECU to me.
Ill have to double check, but there a programmer located inside the cabin on the passenger side. What may be displayed in the engine bay is OEM
Okay. Sounds like the MRS Can Bus device. Same thing I am running. Great little device. Excited to see more of your build.
you have a link of your build? :)
Question, are you unable to run a front sway bar with the swap?
Still running it. Custom oil pan clears it as well as the over pipes, although it is TIGHT in there
Cool! Have any videos of it? Do you have AC?
Does your fuel gauge work correctly?
I haven't got videos yet but ill get it asap and post it on instragram. There is AC hookup but I don't have the compressor installed. I will hopefully soon as it gets sweaty inside
