does FR-S have same liability as BRZ?

Title pretty much says all. Is it safe for me to assume that both FR-S and BRZ performance exactly the same in terms of handling, liability, and etc? The only reason BRZ outprice FR-S is that BRZ has premium features that FR-S does not have and its name (Subaru) correct? Please correct me if I'm wrong at these. Thank you in advanced :)

No, the BRZ is AWD and has a big turbo. The FRS has no turbo and is FWD

Search the differences out and get to know them. Long threads about the differences and what that means to performance between the models.

Well, zizon93, I reckon even if the suspension is a bit different on the BRZ vs the FR-S, I doubt that anyone would notice the handling difference under average driving conditions.

Liability ..?? I'm not sure what you mean. Insurance cost for liability .. ??

The old BRZs were badged as Subaru and the FR-Ss were badged as Scion .... so, different companies ...... different pricing.

Did you mean stability?

To answer your question, no, they're not the same. The suspension is tuned differently in the two cars. You should drive both and see if you notice a difference, and if you do, pick the one YOU like.

why? 06-04-2017 10:17 PM

The 2013 FRS is highly unstable, which is wonderful if you love drifting and know what you are doing, but horrible if you've only ever driven front wheel drive cars and are dumb enough to turn off the traction car which is why they are the ones people crashed so much.

The newer the car the more stable and easier to drive it is as long as you don't so something moronic.

I apologize for making you guys all confused. I was meant to say 'reliability' or could also be 'stability' but definitely not 'liability'. I was asking if both FR-S and BRZ are the vehicles that last long without having any kind of mechanical issues after reaching high mileages if driven properly. I'm asking this because I heard typical American muscle cars, such as Mustang, does not have a good reputation for their reliability. Once again, thank you very much for all the help!

FR-Sky 06-05-2017 02:33 AM

Yes, it is very reliability and stability.

Summerwolf 06-05-2017 08:47 AM

FRS and BRZ have same reliability and stability for the most part. Current American muscle cars have much reliability as well.
