How do you know if you have Bongiovi?
 

I took over someone else's lease on my FR-S and don't know whether it has the upgraded Bongiovi thing or not.

I have the 'base' 2013 Pioneer unit (no touch screen). It does sound better than I was expecting and seems to have a lot of options in the menu to adjust sound beyond the simple bass/treble/balance/fader controls (ASP, and several other acronyms that mean nothing to me).

Enquiring minds want to know (and I'm going to be selling my car soon so would be good to list it with accurate info!).

Just ignore the Americans they are just jealous that we had options they didn't get. The only way to know is if they put the raised print sticker on the upper right corner of the HU. The module didn't add any functions or anything like that to the head unit it was simply a preset equalizer set up for the FRS. There are no controls or any other indication it is there. Was a pile of money for almost nothing.
