Has anyone replaced their 2017 BRZ Radio??
 

After driving my 2013 White BRZ Limited for over four years, I purchased a 2017 Yellow Special Edition. The radio is one step forward and 15 steps backwards and that's not counting no navigation in this piece of crap. Even the sound is substandard.
Now the problem is the new 2017 fascia plate and radio unit is trapezoidal along with the radio unit, so a regular 2 DIN unit will not fit without modification. Does anyone have a solution??

Whats needed to take the trim piece and the side plastic around the HU?

You'll need to either buy the Canadian one piece trim (see above post) or will have to modify a double-din spacer to fit (which I think would look like sh*t).

Look at the Audio forum for people who have done this.
