Door lock refresh
 
Hi. I know I'm being nit-picky here, but the red part on the door lock is worn out on my driver's side and I want to make it look like new. I wouldn't be able to precisely paint it. Any ideas? Maybe a colored tape w/ a strong adhesive.

that looks like something got rubbed on it, have you tried just cleaning it?
