BMW time travel

Ok. This is a true story. I had a BMW old style 318 i think it was, about 15 years ago. Anyway, it had no battery, so i jump started it, and taped the battery cables up with electric tape. About 2 hours into driving to my destination, sun was setting------- The BIGGEST blue light flash you ever saw. EVER. When I could see again it was 3 AM and I was on the side of the road, far ahead of when I saw the flash. Electrical system in the car was totally done. *No drugs involved*.

To this day I wonder what happened. I'll just leave this here.:eyebulge:
THIS 320i

Classic alien abduction scenario. You've been probed, pal.

I honestly think by having no battery hooked up, we built up so much electricity in the car, we did time travel. I had a passenger. I'll never forget that day.

First off, I fail to understand how your car ran without a battery ......:iono:

There may be a connection between the blue flash and your car running without a battery. The car was getting it's electrons to run from the source of the blue light. Then the blue light flamed out, thus frying your car's electrical system.

Similar situations have been reported from West Virginia and Missouri .....:D

LMFAO. We push started it, like pushing it and popping second gear WITH a battery. Once it was running I took the battery out as it was from another car and did'nt fit. The beemer was still running, I taped up pos and neg cables and away we went.

NEVER AGAIN.

So where was the battery that had been in the car?

Anyway. A taped up positive battery shoe banging around could easily short out and fry the electronics as well as produce sparks in the engine compartment.

As for being blinded for a long time, driving blind for a long distance and subsequent memory loss... That's a rather tall tale, isn't it.

Alcoholics call that a blackout ...... happens a lot ..... :sigh:

However, in @BRZdart17 case (no drugs used) ........ we could call that an extended brain fart ....... or a premature, lengthy, senior moment ...... :iono:

My money is on the theory that aliens abducted his brain ...... found that the human brain was of no value and sent him on his way.

I was going to tell a story about a blackout ....... but, the events that led up to it would push @soulreapersteve right over the edge ........so, just never mind ..... that was one of the low points of my drinking career ........ :(

Did the same thing with a buddy's Maverick a few decades ago. Same blue flash as it arched out. We remained aware and watched as the whole car burned to a shell. Who would have guessed that the casing on the wires would have all ignited at once like that? We did save the beer from the back seat before the flames reached it though.

Ah the good old days.

You ever come across a person on the internet who's so weird that you think it's some kind of Turing test?

JD001 05-27-2017 12:18 PM

I'm wondering whether only Cole Sear and Dr Malcolm Crowe can see you and therefore interact with you?

There used to be a battery in the car, right? At some point in history?
So what I want to know is: Who removed it and why?
