Im confused... Scion FR-S in US. But what will Toyota/Subaru name be?
Based off of the recent new on this website it seems to me like the car will be released under Scion. This doesn't surprise me since Scion could use the market boost. Anyways, will it be released under Toyota as the FT-86 II, under Scion as the FR-S, under Subaru as something else, or under multiple?
Sorry if it is a bit noobish to ask, I just found out about this website yesterday. |
Multiple.
It will be a Scion in N.America, a Toyota overseas and there will be a Subaru equivalent which may or may not be sold in the States. What they will be called isn't public knowledge. |
Ah, so we most likely wont see a Toyota model in the states?

Think of as some of the Japanese car in US. example, Lexus GS300, back then in Japan it used to be called Toyota Aristo. Same goes w several other cars SC=Soarer, G35=Skyline G, Q45=Cima and list just goes on and on. So SCION & Toyota difference gonna be just different emblem.
While Toyota/SCION and Subaru gonna have more difference than emblem (my guess). |
It would be very unlikely. But the differences should be negligible, along the lines of the Scion xB/Toyota bB.

don't forget get. all of toyota ft86 & scion fr-s are concept and not the real final production ver. when we see at TAS, that's prob be the final production ver... if toyota doesn't tease us

Last question, is it going to be a 2 seater or what?
