Water Temperature Gauge
 

I apologize if this has been discussed before. I am installing a water temp gauge and just wondering if anyone knows the best place to put the sending unit, I was thinking the upper radiator hose although I am not sure if that is the supply to the engine or the return from the engine. I would imagine i would need to tap into the return to get an accurate temp reading.

You are correct about using the upper radiator hose.
