Shocks blown?
I was lowered on Swift Sport Springs for a while and just reverted back to stock. When looking at my shocks, it didn't seem to have any signs of leaking oil.
After a few days of driving, I started to hear a soft clunking sound on the rear driver side wheel area. If anybody knows how Bristol board sounds like when you shake it, it reminds me of that. It's only 1 side and I think I may be bouncing a bit more from that side. But this might be me overthinking it. Thoughts? |
Double check all nuts are torqued to spec, especially the endlink to the sway bar. IMO endlinks are the number one source of suspension clunks.
I like to torque things down while using the jack to load the suspension a bit. Sometimes things need some load to settle in the right spot, and torquing things down before they get there will allow some play and cause clunking. |
