I wouldn't do it, you could just a buy warranty if that's what you really want. You could even spend 2-3k in mods if you wanted too and in the long run this would be a lot cheaper.

I don't think anyone is arguing that. If I had waited a year for the 2017, I would have definitely bought that instead of my FR-S.

The real question is, "Is it better enough to warrant trading in an FR-S for?"
Everyone's situation is different, but I wouldn't trade mine in now and spend thousands of dollars for 5 more horsepower and a catfish face.
