Just wondering

I need people's opinions on this.
I have a 2014 FRS options are dealer spoiler bug deflector and very dark tint.
It's on a 48 month lease and I was thinking of buying it out.
I have 9 months left on the lease and because they offer a shitty warranty it is now over.
The dealer has offered me a 2017 Toyota 86 decedent out exactly the same. With the new standards of back up Camara and steering controls.
It will cost 20 a month more than I pay now, which is not much.
But I only have 21000 kms on mine and it's mint mint mint.
Opinions on what I should do?
I like the front end on the FRS so much better but would like the warranty back. Plus I know they want the car so they can flip it for much better profit than selling a new one.
I'm also a toyota family member do the max profit they can make on me is 800 over dealer cost.
Thanks

Go test drive the new one, buy the one you like better.

imo there are not enough changes to warrant spending several thousands of dollars to upgrade.

Technically it isn't really just $20 more a month since you have already pumped a pile of money into the leased one. That is all just gone if you start all over again. If happy with yours just buy it out at end of lease.

If it's just the warranty you're after, why not just get an extended one. I made mine 7 years bumper to bumper for an extra $1k when I bought it.

The 2017 is a much better car than all the earlier versions. By far.

If you like your current car, buy it out now. With miles that low, it would be a hell of a deal.

The sooner you buy it, the better value it is.

They're trying to sell you a car that has died?

Maybe I didn't catch your meaning.
But if your saying the Frs/86 is dead then I'll hold on to this one because it's sure to be a classic.
I've owned great cars and this may not be the most powerful but definitely the most fun to drive.

LOL look up the word "decedent". No doubt it is an auto correct but it is pretty funny in the context in which you used it.

No need to look up the word decedent.
And yes it does apply to this car. As the car serves very little purpose except getting from point a to b.
But it is a fun daily driver if that's all you need!
Auto correct is a bitch but can give you a chuckle here and there
What I meant was decked out.

That is all any vehicle is good for. You want it to sing and do a jig as well?
