Are you using the cable that came with it or an extender?

Just trying to get it straight, is it jamming on this screen?http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...6/IMG_1025.jpg

Also Shiv can sometimes take a few days to email back as he is very busy. As for the jamming does it happen right when you enter the screen or have you been driving for a while and it happens?

Yes it happens on that screen, it happens after driving for a while like (4-10 minutez)

I suzpect the connection to cars obd port is intermittent or you may be hitting it with your knee.

Maybe try a short less than 1 meter extension that has 90 degree right angle input.

Also try wigling connection at oft and car obd port to see if yoyu can induce the failt. Do this while logging, definitly not when flashing

Ok talk to the oft guys you may have a faulty obd to oft cable or the oft may be faulty

Does the oft lock up if you leave it connected to your computer and openflash manager for over 10 mins.

Have you plugged the OFT into your computer and made sure it's up to date with openflash manager? I don't know if it would cause the problem but with electronics my go to plan is always 1. Turn it off and back on 2. Update the software if it is available. It's worth a shot anyway.
